The CPHS FFA Alumni & Boosters Club Our motto: It's all about the kids!!! We founded this booster club to help support our students in the FFA program at Canoga Park. We are there for help, for money, for ideas and to help our kids take full advantage of the FFA program. Among other things, we finance scholarships, help pay for competitions and travel fees, and we help with our time any way we can so that our students take full advantage of the opportunities that FFA provides.

What is FFA?
Future Farmers of America (FFA)
The Future Farmer of America (FFA) is a national organization for the students studying agriculture in public secondary schools under the provision of the National Vocational Education Acts.
An integral part of the program of education in agriculture in the public schools system of America, the FFA has become well-known in recent years. No national student organization enjoys greater freedom of self-government under adult council and guidance that the FFA. Organized in November 1928, it has served to motivate and vitalize the instruction offered to students of agriculture and to provide further training in citizenship and agricultural business.
The FFA is an intra-curricular activity having its origin and roots in a definite part of the school curriculum. Topics of discussion include how to construct and take an active part in public meetings, to speak effectively in public, to buy and sell cooperatively, to devise solutions for their own problems, to assume civic responsibilities, and to finance themselves. The foundation upon which the FFA is molded includes leadership, thrift, scholarship, improved agriculture, organized recreation, citizenship, and patriotism.
